Physiotherapy
Here at Reset Physio, we believe in treating the whole body rather than treating an injury in isolation. That’s why we offer an extensive range of services to help improve movement and function. Although this is not an extensive list of services and/or modalities offered, here is a few highlighted skills of our therapists:

Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is a broad-based term that involves a variety of hands-on techniques. It includes both soft tissue techniques (muscle and fasical release) and joint mobilizations.

IMS Dry Needling
IMS is a form of dry needling that involves targeting problem muscles, or trigger points within muscles, to make them release. It's based on resetting a muscle's resting neural tone.

Acupuncture
Based on traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture involves placing needles strategically throughout your body. This instigates blood flow, healing, and overall nervous system balancing.

Vestibular Therapy
Vestibular rehabiliation is be used to assess and treat various causes of vertigo. The most common cause, BPPV, can be a simple treatment involving different positions of your inner ear. More complex causes, may require advanced visuo-spatial or gait re-training exercises.

Exercise Prescription
Individualized exercise prescription is of utmost importance when it comes to physical recovery and optimization. Hands-on physical therapy may be able to get you close to your goal; but in order to achieve your full potential and maintain progress, personalized exercises are the key.

Mechanical Traction
Spinal decompression for extended periods of time helps alleviate pain caused by pressure on the discs and surrounding nerves. It also helps stimulate muscle relaxation. I can be used for both the neck or the low back
